SWINE FLU: 26 BULLET IDEAS FOR MEMBERS OF THE GREENVILLE BAR TO DEFLECT SWINE FLU
It's coming to town. Every year we have flu, but this year is a double whammy year, with the onset of Swine Flu.
There is a lot of material out on this flu, but two Greenville attorneys took a few moments of their time to sort
through the information available and write an article as it relates to the ongoing practice of law during this season.

Doing Well and Doing Good
The Greenville County Bar Association held a luncheon in July 2006 welcoming the
summer associates who are working at local law firms. Family Court Judge Robert
N. Jenkins, Sr., gave an address entitled "Doing Well and Doing Good". He reminded
us that we must not only do well professionally by providing quality legal services
to our clients, but we must also do good by using our skills and abilities to help
solve community problems. To read a copy of this speech, please

The Tommy Thomason Award
Integrity, compassion, fairness, dedication to community, love of the practice of law and pursuit of the
practice as a service to people. These are but a few of the attributes exhibited by the late Tommy Thomason.
Tommy was a distinguished member of the Greenville County Bar Association who practiced in Greenville for 40
years with the firm of Love Thornton Arnold and Thomason. In 1993, the Greenville County Bar Association
established the Tommy Thomason Award to honor a Greenville lawyer who best
exemplifies the wonderful qualities of Tommy Thomason.
